Photos taken at an English-speaking school in Bombay, India

English-speaking school in Bombay, India
February 22nd, 2010

During her trip to India, my “boss“ went to an English-speaking school in Bombay, the capital of India. In this south-Asiatic country life is quite different from life in Europe and North America, and children are very disciplined and have the greatest respect for their teachers. Most of these children speak Hindi and also English, and their religion is hinduism, the main religion of India. This photo shows a drawing made by children of this school. to see photos of children in Ethiopia in February 2008 Children in Ethiopia
From February 8 to 20, 2009

My “boss” travelled to Ethiopia. Children in that African country have almost nothing. They very often have to walk for hours to go to school, which is far away. They also lack school material badly; sometimes they don’t even have pencils for writing. But all these children praise school and strive for learning. Click on the picture to see other photos.
